Encounter 1 of 4

1. Evade the Consecrated Mind

Open four barriers in total while two teams leapfrog around the Consecrated Mind: the opening gate, two single-path gates, and the final three-path barrier. The team with the boss catches every Voltaic Overflow; the team ahead kills the progression enemies and builds the next tether. After the final barrier, all six Guardians chase the boss and collect three more Overflows.

1. Evade the Consecrated Mind quick reference
  • Build a short chain from the opening source to the first gate receiver. When it accepts the tether, three Guardians move through and become the first Forward team; three remain with the boss.
  • The Forward team clears the next room. Kill the single progression Cyclops, then the remaining Vex and Angelic. The Angelic’s death unlocks the source for the next gate.
  • The Boss team watches the Consecrated Mind. When it creates Voltaic Overflow, the assigned eligible Guardian enters the charge immediately. Leaving it for only a few seconds wipes the fireteam.
  • The collector receives Voltaic Overflow for 2:30. That player calls the timer and does not touch another charge while it remains. A second pickup consumes the charge but kills the collector; use this only as an emergency wipe prevention.
  • When the forward source is available, clear all enemies from the chain corridor. The assigned links connect source to receiver and an untethered player turns the source off.

Encounter playbook

  1. 1Build a short chain from the opening source to the first gate receiver. When it accepts the tether, three Guardians move through and become the first Forward team; three remain with the boss.
  2. 2The Forward team clears the next room. Kill the single progression Cyclops, then the remaining Vex and Angelic. The Angelic’s death unlocks the source for the next gate.
  3. 3The Boss team watches the Consecrated Mind. When it creates Voltaic Overflow, the assigned eligible Guardian enters the charge immediately. Leaving it for only a few seconds wipes the fireteam.
  4. 4The collector receives Voltaic Overflow for 2:30. That player calls the timer and does not touch another charge while it remains. A second pickup consumes the charge but kills the collector; use this only as an emergency wipe prevention.
  5. 5When the forward source is available, clear all enemies from the chain corridor. The assigned links connect source to receiver and an untethered player turns the source off.
  6. 6As the boss crosses the opened gate, exchange jobs. The previous Boss team runs forward and becomes the next Forward team. The team that prepared the room stays with the boss and begins its own three-player Overflow rotation.
  7. 7Repeat the same clear, Angelic, tether, and leapfrog cycle at the next barrier.
  8. 8At the final barrier, regroup enough players to complete its three separate source-to-receiver paths. Complete each chain cleanly; do not let an active source capture players assigned to another path.
  9. 9Before opening the field, read every remaining Overflow timer. Assign the next three eligible collectors and name their running order.
